Beverages and snacks are always available to our guests on our butler's
pantry 24
hours a day including coffee, dessert wines or sherry, herbal tea,
soda, bottled water,
granola, biscotti, fresh fruit, and seasonal
delicacies.
Guests are always welcome to enjoy a drink next to the original woodstove in
our tavern anytime during
their stay in the winter months, and in the summer
sit under a mighty oak tree or relax on the front porch. We offer featured red and white
wines, specialty cocktails, imported beers, and seasonal specialties like
hot toddies in the winter and fresh mango margaritas in the summer months. Guests are also
encouraged to slip out back and enjoy Cooper Springs, our 60 jet, 16 person hot tub and treadmill
which are enclosed in the original smokehouse where guests can dim the chandolier lights and gaze
at the stars through the skylight.
Rooms and Rates
Courtly Love Room
The soothing dark blue of the Courtly Love room offers a
relaxing and rejuvenating escape. The room features an iron queen bed with 450
thread count sheets, new mattresses, luxury towels and bath products, and terry
robes for two. It also offers an electric stove all seasons fireplace for heat in the winter and soothing ambiance in the summer months. The private bathroom has a stand-up shower. For your convenience there is a
TV, VCR, DVD, Satellite cable, and cd player alarm clock. This room has a large entry hall and is
perfect for those traveling with small pets. The rate for this room is
$100-$135.
Midsummer's Night Lodging
The rich flavor of the Midsummer's Night room offers an enchanting escape.
The room features a period antique queen bed with 450 thread count sheets, new
mattresses, luxury towels and bath products, and terry robes for two. It
also offers a gas fireplace to snuggle up to in the winter months and the private bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower for soaking away all your
worries while sipping a glass of your favorite wine. For your convenience
there is a TV, VCR, DVD, Satellite cable, and cd player alarm clock. This room also boasts a
large period vanity and bench. The rate for this room is $100-$135.
Romeo & Juliet Room
The perfect room for the true romantic at heart. The Romeo
& Juliet room features a queen sized canopy bed with 450 thread count sheets,
new posturepedic mattresses, luxury towels and bath products, and terry robes
for two. It also offers a gas fireplace and in room clawfoot tub for
relaxing while sipping on your favorite wine. The room also has a large walk-in shower
for your convience as well as a hidden TV, VCR, DVD, Satellite cable, and cd player alarm clock.
Unique to this room are the bathroom figures from the Jefferson Hotel in
Richmond, VA. When they updated their plumbing one hundred of their
original fixtures were only sold to Bed & Breakfasts in Virginia. The rate
for this room is $150
Serenity in the Sage Suite

This room is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, and those seeking a uniquely romantic stay. The room boosts a two-person double Jacuzzi tub and tiled steam shower. Vineyard Suite

The room features a King Canopy bed with 450 thread count sheets, new mattresses, luxury towels and bath products, and terry robes for two. It also offers an all seasons electric stove fireplace for heat in the winter months and soothing ambiance in the summer months. - Rates based on double occupancy and do not include 10% Virginia State
& Local Tax.
- $25 fee for each additional occupant.
- Military/corporate rates available.
- $25 per night rate increase and two-night minimum required during
Lakefest weekend.
- Since we are a small inn and cancellations affect us dramatically,
there is a 14-day cancellation policy.
- Pets are allowed with innkeeper's prior approval
only!
- $15 / night fee added to room rates for pets.

- CHEF'S DINNER BASKETS. On evenings the main dining rooms of the restaurant are closed to the public
(Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday) we are pleased to offer our Chef's Dinner Baskets. The Chef's Dinner basket
comes complete with linen, china, silver, and candlelight. Each basket includes an appetizer or salad for two, family
style entree, dessert for two, and a bottle of sparkling water. Sample Chef's Dinner Basket: Cooper's Landing Hot
Crab Dip served with French Bread and Grapes, Surf and Turf prepared for two, Triple Chocolate Decadence
and Pumpkin Amaretto Cheesecake. You can also add a bottle of wine to your basket. Baskets require advance notice
and can be ordered any night of the week by guests of the Bed & Breakfast. Your basket will be delivered to your door
and can be enjoyed in the privacy of your room, brought down to the dining room or patio, or shared in front of the tavern fire. $65
